    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>As a Field Application Specialist Genomics (qPCR and Digital PCR), you should have an exceptional technical expertise, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion to deliver excellence in customer support. We are looking for someone to cover whole of The Netherlands, however occasional support to Belgium and Luxembourg is to be expected.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>How You’ll Make an Impact:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Partner with our sales team to deliver pre- and post-sales high-level customer support.</li>\n <li>Support the sales team with instrument/workflow lead finding, identification, opportunity development and implementation in customer laboratories.</li>\n <li>Be the trusted expert for our customers (qPCR and Digital PCR) enabling engagement with customers at the highest levels of science.</li>\n <li>Provide timely scientific, technical and applications assistance in response to customer inquiries to both client and sales team.</li>\n <li>Provides troubleshooting support to customers in the field or by phone/email/virtual meetings.</li>\n <li>Resolves and/or escalates customer issues & complaints.</li>\n <li>Organizes and performs product demonstrations and new-user trainings at customer or company sites.</li>\n <li>Drive increased reagents and consumable sales on the installed base Genomics.</li>\n <li>Responsible for demo instruments and sites in NL.</li>\n <li>Reports feedback from customers on applications and/or products to the appropriate internal teams.</li>\n <li>Stays up-to-date on scientific and industry trends and innovations.</li>\n <li>Support technical training for the sales team as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Acts as partner with the sales team/management to timely provide a realistic forecast on instrument and reagent sales.</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>MSc or PhD in a Life Science discipline or related field (BSc to be considered based on experience).</li>\n <li>Strong molecular background (qPCR, NGS) and experience with assay design and digital PCR strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum 3+ years experience working in a laboratory environment (qPCr / digital PCR).</li>\n <li>Minimum 3+ year previous work experience working as an Application Scientist or equivalent position, providing technical support to customers.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years sales/commercial experience strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Is able to identify and solve problems effectively.</li>\n <li>Comfortable with multi-cultural communication styles.</li>\n <li>Is able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.</li>\n <li>Has flexibility around schedule and function.</li>\n <li>Self-directed with strong initiative.</li>\n <li>Dutch as native language and fluent in English (verbal and writing).</li>\n <li>Desire to work full time.</li>\n <li>Positive attitude, team Spirit, flexible, rigorous,  accurate, strong interpersonal skills and good time management.</li>\n <li>Experience in using Salesforce CRM (preferably “Lightning” edition) and good office skills (minimal: Excel, Word, Powerpoint), PowerBI is a pre.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong></p>\n<p>Netherlands - we are looking for someone located in Netherlands.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong> Bio-Rad's biggest asset is its people, and the reason why our Total Rewards deliver programs that provide value, quality, and inclusivity while satisfying the diverse needs of our evolving workforce.
