    "description": "<p><span>Join us on June 2, 2026 for our Summer Experience Program!  BGM’s Summer Experience Program is a local leadership program designed for students who have not yet been through the internship recruiting process, have approximately two years remaining of their education, and will graduate with their CPA eligibility.</span> </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>This 1 day program gives you the chance to explore your interests in a career in public accounting: audit, tax or advisory.  The Summer Experience program not only gives you insight into the culture and career opportunities at BGM but will provide you with a forum to showcase your strengths and abilities through networking and team building activities.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>You can also expect to gain exposure to firm clients while participating in a job shadowing experience, contact with firm leadership, access to developmental resources, and network with BGM professionals and other top candidates in your field.  This program is intended to be informative and FUN!</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Most importantly, you’ll receive answers to your questions about life at BGM as well as an interview for an internship position for Tax Seasons or Summer 2027.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Program Benefits:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Increase your overall understanding of the accounting industry</span></li>\n<li><span>Learn more about our services and client industries</span></li>\n<li><span>Gain leadership skills and insights</span></li>\n<li><span>Network with BGM professionals at all levels, from staff to partner</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience BGM culture and values in action</span></li>\n<li><span>Meet other driven students</span></li>\n<li><span>Increase your professional acumen</span></li>\n<li><span>Have the potential to enter our pipeline for internship and full-time opportunities</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>To be eligible, students must:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and working towards 150 credits</span></li>\n<li><span>Be of Sophomore or Junior status</span></li>\n<li><span>Be interested and eligible in a 2027 or 2028 Tax Season Internship</span></li>\n<li><span>Be internally and academically motivated</span></li>\n<li><span>Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and abilities</span></li>\n<li><span>Possess exemplary interpersonal skills</span></li>\n<li><span>Be both customer service and team member oriented</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Participants:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Approximately 10-15 students from regional colleges and universities will be selected for this program through our various campus recruitment initiatives each fall and spring semester.  Program invitations will be extended to exemplary individuals who encompass our Core Values at the heart of everything they do, which include:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Integrity first</span></li>\n<li><span>Service above self</span></li>\n<li><span>Concern for team members</span></li>\n<li><span>Entrepreneurial spirit</span></li>\n<li><span> </span><span>Quality and timely results</span></li>\n<li><span>Innovative and creative solutions</span></li>\n<li><span>Balance of life</span></li>\n<li><span>Caring client relationships</span></li>\n<li><span>Embrace change and constant learning</span></li>\n</ul>",
