Let’s build a brighter, more connected world together.</p>\n<h2>About this Role</h2>\n<p>IFS InfraSource are seeking Pipefitter's to join our team based out of Lorton, VA.  This position has the potential to support both Washington, DC and Virginia operations.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Practice a “safety comes first” attitude by following Joy, DOT, and OSHA regulations. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist crew in manual work in various ways to maintain job progress. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Thread pipe by using a threading machine or hand threader. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assemble and install a variety of metal and pipe and pipe fittings as necessary to complete the installation. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Join piping by means of welding and other means as approved by the customer. Secure pipes to structure with clamps, brackets, and hangers.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspect and test the piping system for leaks. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>If driving a Company vehicle, operate it in a safe and skilled manner in accordance with the Driver Handbook. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>DOT physical required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Pre- and post-trip inspections are performed daily. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>The vehicle is maintained and kept clean and organized. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>May perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Qualified in plastic pipe joining, pipefitter, and covered tasks associated with natural gas replacement work. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>2 to 3 years of job-related experience required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>CDL-A drivers preferred, but not required.
