The primary focus is to recommend and sell whole home products (i.e., HVAC, ventilation, water heaters/purification, electrical, IAQ and maintenance protection plans) to leads and current customers. Your duties also include assisting HVAC specialists who install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment by contacting customers, performing in-home consultations, providing quotes about the recommended service, writing proposals and contracts, and designing HVAC systems in customer homes and businesses.&nbsp;</p><p><strong id=\"isPasted\">This is a 100% commission role. &nbsp;Compensation is completely based on your performance.</strong></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Essential Functions</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><li>Responsible for handling all sales leads (self-generated and furnished by the Company) Meet with clients, assess their needs, and present tailored whole home solutions.</li><li>Source new clients, re-engage leads, and use a one-call close method or follow-up strategies to secure contracts.</li><li>Evaluate home/business layouts to recommend equipment and prepare accurate proposals using specialized software.</li><li>Responsible for executing proper follow up procedures with every customer&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures that customer expectations are met and kept throughout the duration of the project to ensure complete customer satisfaction&nbsp;</li><li>Develop and maintain sales that meet or exceed the profit margin and closing ratio goals assigned by the Sales Managers</li><li>Make recommendations to the customer regarding the different options available to resolve their wants and needs&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate to the consumer on the proper operation and maintenance of the installed equipment</li><li>Answer related questions as to operation, features, and functions to the homeowner</li><li>Identify new business opportunities by performing direct sales activities and provide support to the administrative personnel as needed</li><li>Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><li>High School Diploma or GED&nbsp;</li><li>At least 5 years of in-home sales experience with a proven track record of success</li><li>Understanding of HVAC components, building codes, and energy efficiency - Trane products preferred</li><li>Ability to properly engineer a job, perform heat load calculations and determine proper equipment sizing</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills for building trust with customers and identifying needs.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills</li><li>Ability to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills&nbsp;</li><li>Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Must pass MVR screening and maintain a good driving record</li><li>Must be able to follow directions and work independently</li><li>Ability to read, write and speak in English</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Activities &amp; Requirements</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><li>Physical Strength: Walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, crawling, stooping, climbing ladders and stairs and lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs. occasionally&nbsp;</li><li>Environment: Work in office setting and customers&rsquo; homes including tight areas such as crawl spaces and attics.
