They are used in consumer goods in paper and packaging, food and pharmaceuticals, household and personal care, pet care, automotives, and many more, as well as in industrial settings like steelmaking, metalcasting, construction, infrastructure, and wastewater remediation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol MTX, headquartered in New York City, and have over 150 locations worldwide, with ~4,000 employees in 34 countries and 12 R&D centers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>We put people at the center of everything we do -- working safely, communicating openly, and managing our resources and businesses responsibly.</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position: </strong>General Labourer</p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Lethbridge, Alberta</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position will be an afternoon shift. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Primary Duties & Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate, Load and Unload production packaging equipment on assigned line.</li>\n <li>Assists with line changeover, clean up and rework.</li>\n <li>Inspects packaging material to ensure that packaging is correct and undamaged prior to load.</li>\n <li>Performs any of the required tasks including palletizing, case making, bagging, lidding, packing, line supply, etc.</li>\n <li>Lifting up-to 20 kgs, and standing for prolonged periods of time</li>\n <li>Following directions as given by the supervisor.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>OE/Lean</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Acts as a resource and champion for department’s continuous improvement activities</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have a strong work ethic and excellent attendance.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Must be able to perform repetitive and physically demanding work.</li>\n <li>Previous experience in a packaging manufacturing environment preferred.</li>\n</ul>",
