This role partners with bedside nursing teams to enhance ability to provide professional nursing care. The virtual nurse utilizes observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness. Using phone, two-way video, remote patient monitoring, and other technologies, the virtual care nurse delivers comprehensive nursing care, supports patient education, and facilitates discharge planning.</p><p style=\"-webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px;
