          "text": "<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The Retired&#xa0;Senior&#xa0;Volunteer&#xa0;Program (RSVP)&#xa0;Program Director provides strategic leadership, program oversight, and operational management of the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program, which engages adults age 55 and older in meaningful volunteer service. The Director ensures compliance with AmeriCorps regulations, drives community impact, manages staff and partnerships, and advances priorities such as healthy futures, economic opportunity, and aging in place.&#xa0;The&#xa0;role reports&#xa0;to the&#xa0;Executive Director of&#xa0;MCOA&#xa0;.&#xa0;&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Essential Functions&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li><p>Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of RSVP programming aligned with&#xa0;local priorities and&#xa0;federal performance measures.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Oversee&#xa0;equitable&#xa0;recruitment, onboarding, and retention of volunteers aged 55+.&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Monitor volunteer placements and satisfaction.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Establish and&#xa0;maintain&#xa0;relationships with community organizations,&#xa0;and&#xa0;government&#xa0;agencies.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Supervise program staff, coordinators, and support personnel.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Evaluate program activities and outcomes, implementing best practices and innovations to enhance&#xa0;delivery.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Advocate for&#xa0;the needs&#xa0;of older adults and&#xa0;raise&#xa0;awareness of available resources&#xa0;for MCOA.&#xa0;&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Perform&#xa0;additional&#xa0;duties as assigned&#xa0;for MCOA.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><p><strong>Competencies, Knowledge,&#xa0;Skills&#xa0;and Abilities</strong>&#xa0;</p><ul><li><p>Effective oral and written communication.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong interpersonal, leadership, and negotiation skills.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability&#xa0;to&#xa0;maintain&#xa0;effective working relationships and develop partnerships.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to adapt quickly and excellent problem-solving skills.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Grant&#xa0;compliance and&#xa0;regulatory&#xa0;knowledge.&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Proficiency&#xa0;in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)&#xa0;</p></li></ul>",
