Description The Team: The Communications department is responsible for strategic deployment of Press & Influencer Relations, Special Events and Advertising across all media channels to support the growth of awareness for Hermès in the US. We activate fully integrated 360° media strategies spanning Paid, Owned and Earned channels to support brand growth. The Opportunity: As the Senior Manager – Digital Media, you will play a key role in shaping the Hermès digital communication strategy through thoughtful management of our paid media investment across digital platforms and channels. You will oversee the activation of digital campaigns—including, but not limited to, Digital Display, Social, Audio, OTT and CTV—to ensure they deliver against brand objectives and uphold the visual and strategic excellence of the House. Working in close partnership with Communications leadership (EVP and Senior Director), you will contribute to media mix planning, budget allocation, and cross-channel strategy aligned with the communications calendar, métier priorities, and growth ambitions. You will also serve as a primary liaison and contact for your channels to global headquarters, vendors, partners, and the media agency of record – guiding media campaign development and ongoing optimization and utilizing post-campaign data analysis and learnings to inform future strategy. About the Role: Digital Strategy & Execution Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of the Hermès digital media ecosystem (Digital, Social, OTT/CTV, Audio, etc.), ensuring campaigns reflect brand standards and guidelines, platform best practices, and local market priorities. Manage agency briefing cycles by campaign to develop media plans for individual campaigns, establishing clear KPIs across digital, social, audio, streaming, and emerging platforms. Contribute to channel-level budget allocation and flighting decisions to maximize efficiency, impact, audience management and ensure alignment with global and local strategy. Define and refine audience targeting strategies to strengthen brand awareness and drive brand consideration and support internal client segmentation frameworks. Lead digital activation workflows end-to-end, including UTM structuring, tagging, trafficking, and monitoring, to ensure full measurement capability and clear attribution across paid touchpoints. Performance Management & Optimization Oversee live campaign monitoring and optimization, ensuring KPI achievement, impression delivery, and brand-safe placement. Review all pre-, mid-, and post-campaign reporting to validate performance, ensure compliance with brand guidelines, and identify insights and key takeaways. Provide strategic guidance to the media agency on optimization paths and test-and-learn opportunities using data-driven insights. Collaborate with Director of Digital Analytics, sharing insights between digital media channels and paid search to facilitate consistent messaging, identify trends and growth opportunities, and ensure unified funnel progression. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Operations Oversee the Digital Media Coordinator in campaign operations, reporting, and departmental administration. Partner with Paris-based advertising stakeholders to facilitate creative timelines and delivery, maintain brand standards, optimize tactics, and to share new ideas for future campaigns. Manage all digital budget tracking within the broader media investment framework, in partnership with the Senior Director of Advertising. Maintain visibility across client, user experience, and consumer journey touchpoints, and work with cross-functional teams across Retail Operations, Stores, and E-Commerce, to streamline and problem solve, when necessary. Cultivate trust-based relationships with external partners—including media agencies, platform partners, and vendors—to ensure strategic alignment, operational excellence, and prioritized support for brand initiatives. Collaborate with other communications department peers across Public Relations and Special Events, ensuring 360° campaign alignment and integrated storytelling for key brand moments. Innovation & Market Intelligence Maintain deep knowledge of digital media trends, tools, and technologies to keep Hermès at the forefront of innovation. Evaluate new and emerging digital partners across Digital Display, Social, Audio, OTT/CTV, AR/VR, and/or other cutting-edge channels and tactics. Proactively identify future opportunities that enhance reach, relevance, and digital brand leadership and present to global headquarters. Supervisory Responsibility: YES Budget Responsibility: YES – partners on budget allocation and investment strategy and maintains advertising campaign budgets as well as cross media departmental budgets Decision Making Responsibility: YES – determines the most effective channels and partners for advertising, campaign optimizations and production decisions. About You: Minimum of 6 years of experience in similar role or function. Experience in Digital media in-house or agency strongly preferred Experience with Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, and/or similar performance dashboards Experience interpreting media performance results, ideally tied to awareness KPIs, measurement frameworks, and strategic contribution to annual planning High level of attention to detail, with and strategic mindset and the ability to execute with precision Solid understanding of budgeting and ability to exercise appropriate judgment Creative problem-solver with strong communication skills Existing network of contacts at leading media companies: Meta, Google, Hearst, Condé Nast, etc. Independent thinker with in-depth knowledge of the digital landscape, social media platforms and innovations in technology. You will also serve as a primary liaison and contact for your channels to global headquarters, vendors, partners, and the media agency of record – guiding media campaign development and ongoing optimization and utilizing post-campaign data analysis and learnings to inform future strategy.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><u>About the Role:&nbsp;</u></span></p><p><span><u>Digital Strategy &amp; Execution</u></span></p><ul><li><span>Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of the Hermès digital media ecosystem (Digital, Social, OTT/CTV, Audio, etc.), ensuring campaigns reflect brand standards and guidelines, platform best practices, and local market priorities.</span></li><li><span>Manage agency briefing cycles by campaign to develop media plans for individual campaigns, establishing clear KPIs across digital, social, audio, streaming, and emerging platforms.</span></li><li><span>Contribute to channel-level budget allocation and flighting decisions to maximize efficiency, impact, audience management and ensure alignment with global and local strategy.</span></li><li><span>Define and refine audience targeting strategies to strengthen brand awareness and drive brand consideration and support internal client segmentation frameworks.</span></li><li><span>Lead digital activation workflows end-to-end, including UTM structuring, tagging, trafficking, and monitoring, to ensure full measurement capability and clear attribution across paid touchpoints.</span></li></ul><p><span><u>Performance Management &amp; Optimization</u></span></p><ul><li><span>Oversee live campaign monitoring and optimization, ensuring KPI achievement, impression delivery, and brand-safe placement.</span></li><li><span>Review all pre-, mid-, and post-campaign reporting to validate performance, ensure compliance with brand guidelines, and identify insights and key takeaways.</span></li><li><span>Provide strategic guidance to the media agency on optimization paths and test-and-learn opportunities using data-driven insights.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with Director of Digital Analytics, sharing insights between digital media channels and paid search to facilitate consistent messaging, identify trends and growth opportunities, and ensure unified funnel progression.</span></li></ul><p><span><u>Team Leadership &amp; Cross-Functional Operations</u></span></p><ul><li><span>Oversee the Digital Media Coordinator in campaign operations, reporting, and departmental administration.</span></li><li><span>Partner with Paris-based advertising stakeholders to facilitate creative timelines and delivery, maintain brand standards, optimize tactics, and to share new ideas for future campaigns.</span></li><li><span>Manage all digital budget tracking within the broader media investment framework, in partnership with the Senior Director of Advertising.</span></li><li><span>Maintain visibility across client, user experience, and consumer journey touchpoints, and work with cross-functional teams across Retail Operations, Stores, and E-Commerce, to streamline and problem solve, when necessary.</span></li><li><span>Cultivate trust-based relationships with external partners—including media agencies, platform partners, and vendors—to ensure strategic alignment, operational excellence, and prioritized support for brand initiatives.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with other communications department peers across Public Relations and Special Events, ensuring 360° campaign alignment and integrated storytelling for key brand moments.</span></li></ul><p><span><u>Innovation &amp; Market Intelligence</u></span></p><ul><li><span>Maintain deep knowledge of digital media trends, tools, and technologies to keep Hermès at the forefront of innovation.</span></li><li><span>Evaluate new and emerging digital partners across Digital Display, Social, Audio, OTT/CTV, AR/VR, and/or other cutting-edge channels and tactics.</span></li><li><span>Proactively identify future opportunities that enhance reach, relevance, and digital brand leadership and present to global headquarters.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><u>Supervisory Responsibility:</u></span><i><span>&nbsp;</span></i></p><ul><li><span>YES</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><u>Budget Responsibility:</u></span><i><span>&nbsp;</span></i></p><ul><li><span>YES – partners on budget allocation and investment strategy and maintains advertising campaign budgets as well as cross media departmental budgets</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><u>Decision Making Responsibility:</u></span><i><span>&nbsp;</span></i></p><ul><li><span>YES – determines the most effective channels and partners for advertising, campaign optimizations and production decisions.&nbsp;</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><u>About You:</u></span><i><span>&nbsp;</span></i></p><ul><li><span>Minimum of 6 years of experience in similar role or function.
