Our world-class team includes experts in all aspects of lunar science and data processing, spacecraft subsystems design, development, and test, on-orbit operations, and safety.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Develop software in support of operating multiple remote sensing instruments.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Develop software to process received remote sensing data for various research and archival purposes.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Create and execute software test plans for this software including both unit and functional testing.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Interface with published APIs of other software.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Collaborate with scientists and engineers to create tools for data visualization, analysis, reduction, and archiving.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Build understanding of research activities and goals to better serve the advancement of knowledge within relevant research domains.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Create and maintain documentation for software tools and workflows.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for software development.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Support the integration and testing of software.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\"><span data-contrast=\"none\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW213175087 BCX8\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW213175087 BCX8\">2+ years of relevant professional experience or equivalent experience.</span></span></li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience with programming languages such as C++,Ruby, Python, and IDL.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Project and time management skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Strong problem-solving, analytical and learning skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Understanding of coding standards and testing ideologies.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Proficiency in Linux/Unix and MacOS environments.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Proficiency using software version control such as Subversion or Git.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Keen interest in and ability to follow and contribute to emerging research in planetary science and related fields.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience with relational databases, database management, and SQL.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience with GIS techniques such as map projection.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience with mathematical concepts such as frame/point rotation, coordinate transformation, and statistical analysis.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience with agile development methodologies.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Strong technical and research writing skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience with concurrent and parallel programming techniques.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Knowledge of planetary science or remote sensing.</li></ul><p><strong>US EEO Statement</strong></p><p>Intuitive Machines is an Equal Opportunity employer.
