These items are available in grocery stores around Puget Sound.</p><p>As a Shipping Driver, your responsibility is to deliver, pick up, and transport our products and supplies to customers, vendors and Tutta Bella locations. Tutta Bella handles substantial quantities of perishable and/or delicate products, and it is the driver&rsquo;s responsibility to ensure safe and proper handling as appropriate. &nbsp;Additionally, you will support shipping, receiving, and handling of materials at our production hub. This includes inspecting, labeling, forklift operations, binning &amp; packing, cleaning, inventory maintenance and any other tasks required to ensure all products are handled in a way that meets Tutta Bella&rsquo;s quality and safety requirements.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp; None</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Job Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform daily routine safety checks and pre-trip inspections on assigned vehicle.&nbsp;</li><li>Follow all required and appropriate safety measures for assigned vehicles.&nbsp;</li><li>Navigate and operate vehicles within assigned service areas and in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.</li><li>Load and unload all assigned products and materials in accordance with normal safety and operating procedures and report any violations to a supervisor.</li><li>Ensure that products and materials being transported comply with legal load limits.</li><li>Report all accidents or vehicle damage to a supervisor as soon as is safe and practical.</li><li>Ensure reasonable security and safety of assigned vehicles, inventory and equipment.</li><li>Support good customer and vendor relations and positive brand image for Tutta Bella throughout the service process.</li><li>Print stickers for tracking and traceability.</li><li>Clean the walk-in freezer and maintain its organization</li><li>Bin and pack orders</li><li>Fold and stage boxes for shipping</li><li>Complete all Tutta Bella forms&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Additional Duties:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment.</li><li>Perform and assist with general housekeeping tasks including sweeping, mopping, and washing trucks.</li><li>Arrive for each scheduled shift on time and ready to work with proper equipment.</li><li>Report barriers to completing daily delivery and merchandising tasks to a supervisor in a timely manner.</li><li>Contribute to a working environment where everyone is valued and respected.</li><li>Remain coachable and eager to improve and grow.</li><li>Support the work of other teams to ensure that production and shipping can be completed on schedule.</li><li>Actively communicate with supervisors, coworkers and other teams to increase efficiency, quality and safety.</li><li>Operate a forklift once trained and certified.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Experience, Certifications and Education:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain a current Food Handler&rsquo;s Permit valid in King County.</li><li>Complete and maintain all required training as provided by Tutta Bella in accordance with FDA and USDA requirements.</li><li>Learn and apply safe-handling procedures for all equipment and appliances used in the completion of daily work through training provided by Tutta Bella.</li><li>Maintain required certifications for use of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and any other motorized equipment approved for use by Tutta Bella in the completion of daily position tasks.</li><li>Maintain a clean driving record with no more than 1 at-fault violation or moving violation within 3 years. This position is subject to driving record checks by both Tutta Bella and our vehicle insurance carrier.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to work while standing and walking for up to 4 hours without sitting.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly without strain.</li><li>Must be able to safely lift up to 80 pounds occasionally.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong>&nbsp; The Shipping Driver/ Hub Specialist<strong>&nbsp;</strong>will regularly work in conditions open to the elements such as loading dock and parking lot conditions. This position will also frequently work in refrigerated or frozen rooms.
