    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Our Release QA team in Burnaby has over 130 staff and are responsible for ensuring Fortinet products meet&nbsp;the high standards we expect before release to the market. We are currently recruiting for teams focused on QA activities for our FortiOS, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer and FortiClient products.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>Perform regression testing using a combination of manual and automated testing approaches; Design, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>Develop and enhance automated test scripts.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>Identify, document, and track software defects throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure issues are accurately reproduced, clearly communicated, and effectively resolved.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>Work cross-functionally with Developers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of new features, use cases, and customer scenarios.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>Prepare and publish release notes, user guides, and reference documentation for new product releases.</span></li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>Open to both recent graduates and candidates with experience in testing network-related products.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>Strong understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and application-layer protocols.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>Familiarity with networking technologies, including routing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and switching.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>Experience in installing, configuring, and managing Windows and/or Linux virtual machines and related applications.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>Solid knowledge of QA processes, testing methodologies, and software development fundamentals.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or AI-related technologies is a strong plus.</span></li><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>Proficiency or hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Shell, TCL, Perl, or Python is an advantage.</span></li></ul><p><strong>Education Requirements:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"tab-stops:list .5in;\"><span>Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a related discipline.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $85,000 - $115,000 annually.&nbsp; Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.&nbsp; Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.&nbsp;</p><p>Fortinet strives to provide you and your family with a comprehensive benefits package.
