Join our growing Maintenance Team as a full-time Maintenance Technician at Richman Property Services (RPS), Inc. in Miami, FL! Position: Maintenance Technician 1 Location: Allapattah Trace, our 77-unit residential affordable community located in Miam, FL 33142 Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (30 or 60 minute unpaid lunch break daily), with on-call weekend rotation, 40 hours per week, full-time. Key Qualifications: EPA I & II or EPA Universal preferred, however if you do not have your EPA, but posses the right experience, skills and drive to join our team, we (RPS), may sponsor (and pay) for your EPA I & II within your first 75-days on the job (discussed during interview process). Valid Driver's License is required for this position Minimum of 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience, working effectively with teams. Responsibilities: Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines Manage service requests and ensure timely completion Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development Assist in property preventative maintenance plan Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime Requirements: Education: High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc. Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently Skills & Certifications : EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred Valid Driver's License required Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes Benefits: Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package Quarterly Increase Opportunities $40 monthly cell phone allowance Annual discretionary bonus.
