    "description": "<h2>All About You</h2>\n<p>A <strong>Test Engineer</strong> is responsible for designing and implementing the tests that ensure the quality and the functionality of Saft's product. Test engineers participate in all phases of the testing program, from designing the test parameters to troubleshooting errors, and writing up final test procedures. Test engineer design and implement quality-check procedures for Saft's products. Responsibilities include analyzing the product features and designing test parameters. Test engineers should have in-depth knowledge of engineering and product design, a good eye for detail, and the ability to create simple yet thorough quality-check procedures to ensure the peak performance of a product.</p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A <strong>Bachelor of Science is required. </strong>This can be in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Software) </li>\n <li>A minimum of 0-2 years of experience in test engineering or related field. </li>\n <li>Candidates must have experience with programming, electrical assembly, troubleshooting electrical equipment and some project planning / organization. </li>\n <li>You should have familiarity with a variety of electrical testing concepts, practices, and procedures</li>\n <li>Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.</li>\n <li>Good critical thinking skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to project manage.</li>\n <li>High-level technical writing skills.</li>\n <li>Helpful to have but not a must:</li>\n <li>Programming experience in any of the following battery testing equipment\n  <ul>\n   <li>Maccor</li>\n   <li>Arbin</li>\n   <li>Digatron</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Creating concise and clear communication through presentations. </li>\n <li>Diadem and Signal Express as well as any NI setups</li>\n <li>Fabrication of Jigs and Fixtures for specialty testing</li>\n <li>Previous battery or cell test experience with lithium ion </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Write testing programs of varying complexity, for a variety of electrical testing equipment. Plan testing with lab staff in consideration of maximizing available chambers and resources.</li>\n <li>Create data analysis programs, graphics packages, and work with scientists to interpret results. Perform post-test quality control on the data to ensure no anomalies have affected the results. Report analysis results in a professional manner.</li>\n <li>Cell Testing shall include any and all identified systems, test equipment, and test types. Test anomalies shall be handled timely, appropriately and analytically.</li>\n <li>Define and support Cell Test improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot Test Equipment.  Generate and/or support generation of test harnesses, test boxes, associated test systems, and automation techniques. Recommend alternate testing methodologies or improved results likelihood. </li>\n <li>Support the Department Manager by tracking day to day needs of a Cell Program, monitoring test status, ensuring accurate results, presenting data, receiving / inventorying cells, and scheduling testing.</li>\n <li>Build Test setups including digital IO, Power supplies, Relays, Loggers, pneumatics, controllers</li>\n <li>Procurement of supplies and research into relevant technology to develop and enhance capabilities </li>\n <li>Calibration of Test equipment</li>\n <li>Perform Cycle Life, Storage Life, Aging Characterization, Impedance mapping, Cold and Hot performance testing on variety of cell designs ranging from mAh cells to > 100Ah cells or modules.</li>\n <li>Abuse Testing including UN testing</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p>Whether you are just getting started or are an experienced professional, we offer a robust total rewards package to include generous compensation based on market standards, healthcare, wellness, adoption assistance, discounted stock purchase, career development and recognition programs.
