You'll set the direction for security architecture across the organization — from product design and deployment to future-state strategies and roadmaps — while serving as the go-to subject matter expert and partnering with senior leaders to protect and champion the trusted IHG brand.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span><strong>Architecture &amp; Engineering Program Management</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Lead the <strong>enterprise-wide security architecture and engineering program</strong>, ensuring all technology assets are secure by design and protected by appropriate controls.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Create, monitor, and enforce <strong>consistent security standards</strong> across intrusion detection systems, firewalls, vulnerability assessment tools, penetration testing, secure email, access control &amp; identity management, network security, and more.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Oversee the development and deployment of <strong>highly complex security projects</strong>, ensuring solutions meet technical requirements, timelines, and budgets.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span><strong>Business Partnership &amp; Stakeholder Engagement</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Build strong relationships with <strong>Global Technology leaders, business leaders, and process owners</strong> to foster confidence in IHG's security practices.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Partner with business units to implement practices that align with IHG's <strong>defined security policies and standards</strong>.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Team Leadership</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Coach, develop, and inspire</strong> a high-performing, multi-disciplined security team — including hiring, training, performance management, and career development.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Plan, organize, and lead functions within established <strong>schedules, budgets, and resource plans</strong>; contribute to department staffing and capital budget planning.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS/IT, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field — <i>or</i> an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">10+ years of progressive experience with demonstrated proficiency across multiple security disciplines, technologies, and processes.5+ years of leadership experience managing subordinate teams, including establishing organizational structure and allocating responsibilities.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Deep expertise in Information Security Engineering, Risk Management, and Security Risk Management.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Strong knowledge of Protective Security, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity principles.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Understanding of regional political, economic, crime, and security risk landscapes. Proven ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization — from technical teams to the C-suite.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences. Strong executive presentation and escalation management capabilities.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Demonstrated project management expertise in planning and executing large-scale initiatives from concept through delivery.
