This is a great opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, build your technical skills, and see how tax plays a critical role in business decision-making.</p>\n<h2></h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>Location</p>\n<p>You must be in the Ottawa, Canada office at least three days a week.</p>\n<p>Term Duration</p>\n<p> This is a full-time 4-month position, starting September 2026.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Co-op / Intern Eligibility</p>\n<p> This position is open to co-ops and interns. To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled in full-time education or be a recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of the placement end date.</p>\n<p>Compensation range</p>\n<p> $19.46-$28.55 hourly rate. The final offer within this range will reflect the candidate’s skills, year of education, and experience.</p>\n<p>Vacancy Status</p>\n<p>This is an existing job vacancy.</p>\n<p>What you will do</p>\n<p>As a Tax Co-Op, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of tax functions, including:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supporting global income tax accounting and compliance processes</li>\n <li>Preparing working papers and tax provisions for quarterly financial reporting</li>\n <li>Assisting with transfer pricing documentation and related-party charge calculations</li>\n <li>Preparing indirect tax filings and reconciling related financial statement accounts</li>\n <li>Contributing to global corporate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions</li>\n <li>Conducting research, analyzing tax issues, summarizing findings, and presenting insights to the tax team and broader finance organization</li>\n <li>Performing monthly account reconciliations to support financial reporting</li>\n <li>Assisting with audit-related documentation and support</li>\n <li>Supporting month-end close activities</li>\n <li>Participating in ad hoc projects aligned with business initiatives</li>\n</ul>\n<p>What we are looking for</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Working toward a degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field</li>\n <li>A proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills</li>\n <li>Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment</li>\n <li>Organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively</li>\n <li>A clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)</li>\n <li>Demonstrates leadership potential through academic, extracurricular, or work experiences</li>\n <li>Thinks creatively and brings fresh ideas to the table</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Things that would definitely help</p>\n<p>While not required, the following experience and knowledge would be a strong asset:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with accounting systems—especially NetSuite</li>\n <li>Previous work experience in a related field (e.g., accounting, finance, tax)</li>\n <li>A basic understanding of intercompany accounting and foreign currency transactions</li>\n <li>Experience conducting research and analysis to support decision-making</li>\n <li>Completion of introductory tax courses or relevant academic projects</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We’re accepting applications now through end of day on Monday June 12, 2026.
