          "text": "<p><strong><u>The Master Data Specialist – Sales Focus</u></strong> is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all sales-related master data within SAP. This role supports smooth order processing, effective pricing management, and strong coordination between Sales, Customer Service, Planning, and the factories. The specialist will play a key role in reducing order errors, improving data governance, and supporting business efficiency across North America.</p><p><strong><u>Reports to:</u></strong></p><p>FCS Sales Administration Manager – Americas &#xa0;</p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><p><strong>Material Master Extension (Local Scope)</strong></p><ul><li>Perform local material extensions in SAP (sales views, distribution channels, plant setup) after factory-level extensions are completed.</li><li>Ensure all sales-related fields are correctly maintained to support order entry and availability checks.</li><li>Extend &amp; Price local Part Number to BU upon their request</li></ul><p><strong>Pricing Creation &amp; Maintenance</strong></p><ul><li>Create and manage pricing conditions in SAP</li><li>Ensure pricing accuracy across all customers and business units</li><li>Monitor validity dates and proactively update expiring pricing.</li></ul><p><strong>Order Processing Support</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor blocked or incomplete orders caused by incorrect or missing master data.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues and coordinate fixes to ensure timely order flow.</li><li>Provide support to Sales Admin when master data discrepancies arise.</li><li>Make sure intercompany orders are correctly transmitted (Idoc)</li></ul><p><strong>Coordination with Factories</strong></p><ul><li>Communicate with factory teams to validate and correct item master data such as:<ul><li>Replenishment lead times</li><li>Manufacturing lead time policies</li><li>MOQ rules</li><li>MRP settings</li><li>Material availability settings</li></ul></li><li>Track open data requests and ensure timely updates.</li></ul><p><strong>Data Quality &amp; Governance</strong></p><ul><li>Perform routine data audits to maintain consistency between local and global master data.</li><li>Identify root causes of recurring data issues and propose continuous improvement actions.</li><li>Support implementation of global or regional data governance standards.</li><li>Participate in improving processes to support growth (continuous improvement based on daily identified issues)</li></ul><p><strong>Support for New Product Introductions</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate SAP setup for newly released items.</li><li>Ensure all views are activated ahead of launch.</li></ul><p><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></p><ul><li>Work closely with Sales Administration, Supply chain, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and IT.</li><li>Provide guidance to internal teams on master data requirements and processes.</li></ul><p><strong>Reporting &amp; KPIs</strong></p><ul><li>Track and report metrics related to master data accuracy, pricing setup, and order blocks.</li><li>Provide regular analytics to the Sales Administration Manager.</li></ul><p><strong>Documentation &amp; Process Ownership</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain SOPs for material creation, pricing setup, and data maintenance.</li><li>Train new users when necessary.</li></ul>",
