The IOP Therapist will provide individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy to adults and adolescents in our Physician directed-intensive outpatient program. Therapist will assist clients using best practices of group counseling techniques. Communicates with physicians to report patient progress    needs, concerns, and potential and actual problems.</li>\n <li>Works closely with all members of the health care team in development of the plan of treatment, including discharge plans, based on the psychosocial assessment and accepted social work interventions.</li>\n <li>Provides group and family process-oriented therapies as well as conducts educational and other didactic group for patients and family members using various professional treatment modalities.</li>\n <li>Provides social work services including short-term individual counseling, group therapy, community resource planning, and crisis intervention.</li>\n <li>Develops and coordinates an individualized discharge plan for the patient by utilizing treatment team and chart information to determine the patient's aftercare needs.</li>\n <li>Develops and maintains thorough knowledge of referral resources throughout the service area.</li>\n <li>Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other third party reimbursement sources. </li>\n <li>Demonstrates skill of writing individualized, behavioral and measurable treatment goals base upon information on psychosocial assessment and psychiatric evaluation. </li>\n <li>Conduct daily group therapy sessions. Conduct individual and or family therapy sessions.</li>\n <li>Obtain insurance benefit information, authorization for treatment and perform ongoing utilizations reviews. </li>\n <li>Files all progress notes in the medical record within 24 hours of the date of service.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling required.</li>\n <li>Independent  License in Counseling (LPC) or Social Work (LCSW) required. </li>\n <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) and Handle with Care (HWC) certifications are required and obtained during orientation. </li>\n <li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health or healthcare required. 3 years of experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience developing and administering treatment plans</li>\n <li>Individual and group counseling techniques</li>\n <li>Exceptional communication skills</li>\n</ul>",
