You will deliver outstanding care by assisting with various daily activities and managing the overall well-being of clients. Applicants of interest will work primarily with the elderly in autonomous, semi-autonomous, and total care conditions.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Personal hygiene such as bathing, dressing, and grooming</li>\n <li>Cooking and nutritional guidance</li>\n <li>Transportation services</li>\n <li>Light housekeeping services and laundry</li>\n <li>Medication reminders</li>\n <li>Exercise and physical assistance</li>\n <li>Conversation, companionship, and mental stimulation</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p>\n<p>You are a compassionate professional with a profound desire to make a difference. Every day, you strive to impact positively on the lives of those you serve.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills, Education, and Certifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have some form of training, eg. Nursing</li>\n <li>High school or college diploma</li>\n <li>Must have at least 2-3 years of experience caring for the elderly and preferably have experience dealing with Clients with dementia</li>\n <li>Must have a good command of English and be able to converse with ease on a wide variety of topics</li>\n <li>No history of criminal background</li>\n <li>Passionate about providing care for elders</li>\n <li>Must be compassionate, honest, reliable, confident, and highly sociable</li>\n <li>Must feel confident in your ability to engage the Client in activities and conversation</li>\n <li>Must be able to cook</li>\n <li>Proof of eligibility to work in Canada (Canadian citizenship or open work permit)</li>\n <li>3 professional references including telephone numbers</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to reliably travel to client homes and office location(s)</li>\n <li>Ability to safely perform client transfers with weight-bearing requirements, contingent upon client condition and needs</li>\n <li>Ability to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Job ID: 13181</p>",
