    "description": "<h2> </h2>\n<p>This position requires candidates with a passion for getting things done — we work in a fast-paced, agile environment where code is deployed into production every 48 hours; but we are moving toward a full CI/CD model to deploy code on demand. Join our team and get ready to play a pivotal role in helping ensure the quality of our deployed software.</p>\n<h2>WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Become a subject matter expert in UWM’s applications, automated testing tools and testing/defect management</li>\n <li>Design, build and manage automated test frameworks and scripts</li>\n <li>Actively participate in UWM’s Agile culture and framework (i.e., Continuous Improvement Culture, Scrum and Kanban Frameworks)</li>\n <li>Carry out functional and non-functional testing, including web accessibility, product app security, server-side load and performance, and client-side page speed</li>\n <li>Review results of automated tests and taking appropriate action (i.e., file defects, updating test code/data/configuration, etc.)</li>\n <li>Ensure that any areas not covered by automated tests are validated via alternate mechanisms</li>\n <li>Improve product and code testability by influencing design at the architecture phase</li>\n <li>Collaborate with other functions, including product management, product development and designers</li>\n <li>Plan, define and execute test strategies in a multi-screen, multi-platform web application environment, and ensuring they are released to production with high quality</li>\n <li>Communicate and collaborate within your team and the IT team as a whole</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>7+ years of experience in software testing</li>\n <li>Strong coding skills, in one or more programming languages such as C# and/or Python</li>\n <li>Experience with implementing Performance and API automation</li>\n <li>Experience defining test strategy in collaboration with business stakeholders</li>\n <li>Experienced with Thunder client. RestSharp, K6 and/or JMeter </li>\n <li>Experience with Integration and Mutation Testing</li>\n <li>Proficiency with relational databases</li>\n <li>Experience with non-functional testing</li>\n <li>Highly collaborative mindset and a good team player</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate complex technical issues and solutions in a clear, simple and understandable way</li>\n <li>Onsite, full-time attendance</li>\n <li>Computer-related degree or equivalent experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Extensive experience in Python</li>\n <li>Proficiency in baseline testing</li>\n <li>Expertise in Dynatrace, Splunk or any monitoring</li>\n <li>Mobile automation tools such as XCTest, Espresso and Applitools</li>\n <li>Mortgage knowledge or experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>THE PLACE & THE PERKS</h2>\n<p>Ready to join thousands of talented team members who are making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans?
