It is more than a job; it is an opportunity to provide invaluable support, led by the people you will be supporting. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsibilities may Include: </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\"><span>·         </span></span>Assisting with personal cares (showering, bathing)</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\"><span>·         </span></span>Assisting with household management and meal preparation</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\"><span>·         </span></span>Supporting exercise programmes</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\"><span>·         </span></span>Assisting with accessing the community </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\"><span>·         </span></span>Bowel, Bladder, and Catheter cares</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\"><span>·         </span></span>Moving and handling hoists and manual transfers</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\"><span>·         </span></span>Medication support</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Location:</span> Mid/Far North</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Pay rate:$24.13- $30.78 per hour (This is based on the Pay Equity Settlement 2017 – hourly pay rates based on equivalency of Healthcare Qualifications assessed under Pay Equity).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Employment Type: </span>Permanent</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We offer a range of employment opportunities including part-time, and full-time positions, which will be discussed further during the recruitment process.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours of work: </span>Full-time (30+ Hours) or Part-time (Up to 29 Hours)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Days of work: As this is community-based work, rotating rosters would be involved including am, pm and weekend work. Your preferred hours of work can be discussed during the recruitment process.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking for someone who would be comfortable covering between the hours of 7 am – 11 pm. The duration of these hours may vary, ranging from shorter to longer periods, depending on the specific needs of the people we support.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About you | He momo</span></p>\n<p>You are a calm but confident-natured individual who can demonstrate resilience and understand the challenges of our service users. There are many responsibilities associated with being a support worker which can be challenging and fulfilling.
