By providing 2 volunteers per shift we receive a portion of the proceeds to invest into our programs and services. Since its inception the mandate of the organization has broadened to not only support people at risk of, living with, and affected by HIV and HCV, but to also support and celebrate the lives of the 2S-LGBTQ+ communities in Simcoe County and Muskoka Region. Gilbert Centre covers a large catchment area encompassing a significant geographic territory with a mix of small and mid-sized urban environments and rural settings.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Charitable gaming at Delta Bingo &amp; Gaming Barrie is an important fundraising activity that directly supports our programs and services. Volunteers who participate in bingo shifts help generate approximately <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">$700 in funding per shift</span> for the Centre, contributing to vital services in our community.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">The Gilbert Centre is seeking volunteers to participate in our <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Charitable Gaming Bingo fundraising program</span> at Delta Bingo &amp; Gaming Barrie. Volunteers support the gaming centre by assisting staff and patrons during bingo sessions while representing the Gilbert Centre.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">All volunteers must complete required training before participating. Volunteers play an important role in maintaining a welcoming environment for players while helping ensure the gaming centre operates smoothly.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">During bingo sessions, volunteers may assist with:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Greeting customers and welcoming players as they arrive</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Helping maintain a clean and organized gaming environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assisting staff with promotional activities (such as distributing ballots or supporting draws)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Supporting general customer service and directing questions to gaming centre staff</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Helping players with locating services or products within the facility</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assisting with light operational tasks such as collecting used cards, tidying areas, or supporting intermission activities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Supporting food delivery to tables when indicated by centre staff</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Volunteers help create a positive experience for guests while representing the Gilbert Centre and supporting our fundraising efforts.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Training Requirements</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">All volunteers must complete <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">two mandatory training components</span> before participating. Selected applicants will receive instructions on completing the required training and scheduling their first shift.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">1. Online Training Module</span><br><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Volunteers must complete the Charitable Gaming online training module.</span><br><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><a href=\"https://www.charitablegaming.com/volunteer-training\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><br></a></span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">2.
