    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></p>\n\n<p>Directly supervises teammates in the Production Department.&nbsp;Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.&nbsp;Responsibilities include training teammates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining teammates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.</p>\n\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Manage staffing roles and assignments in area</li>\n\t<li>Support and manage teammate safety</li>\n\t<li>Leads and manages company policies, and regulations in his/her department</li>\n\t<li>Leads the MPS development and Business Case improvement in his/her area</li>\n\t<li>Lead, direct and coach projects and improvement themes</li>\n\t<li>Supports team leaders and supports restoring production as required</li>\n\t<li>Leads the motivation, morale and growth development of his/her team leaders and teammates</li>\n\t<li>Manage time and attendance records</li>\n\t<li>Coordinates activities with other department supervisors to maintain alignment</li>\n\t<li>Evaluate and coordinate training for teammates</li>\n\t<li>Coach and develop team leaders</li>\n\t<li>Develop, support and manage to standards</li>\n\t<li>Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations</li>\n\t<li>Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding production schedules</li>\n\t<li>Facilitate problem solving and MPS processes to improve production</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>SECONDARY DUTIES:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Provide technical support to the area</li>\n\t<li>Leads by example with good attendance, and high personal and business integrity</li>\n\t<li>Lead safety/emergency situations<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Associate or Bachelor Degree or 3- 5 years related experience or a combinations of at least one of these: Team Leader, MPS Office, or relevant experience.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: </strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Intermediate ERP Software skills</li>\n\t<li>A high level of business acumen and comfort working in a cross-functional environment</li>\n\t<li>Excellent communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills with ability to influence</li>\n\t<li>Process oriented, proactive and customer-focused</li>\n\t<li>Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills required</li>\n\t<li>Understanding of MPS principles and practices</li>\n\t<li>Ability to problem solve to the root cause and implement countermeasures<em>&nbsp;</em></li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Directly supervise the day to day work of 10-45 teammates</li>\n\t<li>Ensure compliance with legal and Midmark policies</li>\n\t<li>Interviewing, hiring, termination, training planning, assigning and directing work</li>\n\t<li>Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, counseling or discipline as needed</li>\n\t<li>Address complaints and resolve problems and conflicts</li>\n</ul>\n",
