    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Chelton Loft</strong><i> is a psychosocial clubhouse following the Clubhouse International Standards, providing an inclusive, supportive environment for individuals with mental illness.</i><br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><p>As a Clubhouse Engagement Specialist with Chelton Loft, you’ll be part of a small, dedicated team working with people living with mental illness. You’ll develop and coordinate opportunities for friendship, employment, housing, education, and access to medical and psychiatric services in a single, caring, and safe clubhouse environment. Clubhouse members and staff equally participate in identifying and empowering members' strengths, skills, and interests. The staff offers a positive, supportive relationship that helps build members' self-esteem and encourages them to work toward identified goals, wellness, and recovery.</p><p><br><strong>Your Responsibilities Will Include:</strong></p><ul><li>Helping plan and carry out daily activities and projects with members</li><li>Encouraging members to develop leadership and work-readiness skills</li><li>Supporting members with goal setting and skill-building</li><li>Participating in the Clubhouse's Transitional Employment (TE) Program, including helping members find jobs, training them, and stepping in to cover job shifts when needed</li><li>Attending community events and meetings to promote Chelton Loft and learning from other Clubhouses</li><li>Leading or supporting projects and strategic planning efforts with staff and members</li><li>Covering social and recreational activities on evenings, weekends, and holidays (on a rotating basis)</li><li>Modeling and supporting healthy communication between members and service providers</li><li>H<strong>elping onboard and train new members, staff, interns, and volunteers</strong></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>You Would Be A Great Fit If You:</strong><br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Have a bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related field, OR equivalent experience.</li><li>Bring at least 3 years of experience in human services</li><li>Have worked in a Psychosocial Clubhouse or mental health support program (preferred)</li><li>Understand the needs of individuals impacted by the criminal legal system (a plus)</li><li>Are flexible, empathetic, and committed to rehabilitation and recovery</li><li>Food Safety Certification (a plus)</li><li>Bilingual Spanish (fluent speaker preferred)</li><li>Have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Are computer proficient, especially with Microsoft Office and databases</li><li>Can work with diverse populations and remain calm in emotional situations</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Compensation</strong></p><ul><li>$23.00 to $25.00 per hour<br><br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong><br><br><i>The Fedcap Group provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, provincial, or local laws.</i><br><br><i>The Fedcap Group warmly welcomes people with disabilities to join our diverse team and seeks to ensure an accessible hiring process.
