The ideal candidate will be willing to travel in the local region to various projects, specifically in the West Texas area with experience in concrete testing, nuclear and density testing.</p><p><br>In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Performs a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under general supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Operates testing equipment and conducts testing (example: Soil, concrete or other) and provides assessment of data through reporting.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Works utilizing drawings, specifications, and diagrams.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Uses specific methods to observe site activities and perform tasks.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Makes detailed observations and gives limited interpretation of results.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Maintains detailed documentation and data from test results.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Operates a calculator to calculate mathematical test results.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Communicates effectively with client and project teams.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Must be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work.</li></ul><p><br><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">High School Diploma or equivalent is required</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Construction Materials Testing experience is required&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I Certification is required</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record is required</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Must be willing to travel overnight, 25-50% required</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Effective communication skills (written, verbal and listening) and solid interpersonal skills are required</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">External (or task related) certifications based on region and state may be required</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Basic math, calculator, and computer skills are required</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">The ability to read and understand work plans is required</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Intertek: Total Quality.
