At TA Instruments, the Instrument Assembler position is a great entry level opportunity for an electro-mechanical instrument assembler to join a world class analytical instrument manufacturer. The work environment is inclusive, team oriented and the customer is always our first priority. \n<h2>Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assembles a variety of mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical instruments and sub-assemblies</li>\n <li>Tests sub-assemblies and instruments as per established procedures</li>\n <li>Assembles a wide variety of kits and accessory items</li>\n <li>Troubleshoots and repairs sub-assemblies and instruments</li>\n <li>Follows all procedures and processes</li>\n <li>Participates in Lean process improvement programs</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>The successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience that would include the following</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to read blueprints, follow written procedures and drawings, and verbal instructions</li>\n <li>Ability to use hand tools (i.e. screwdrivers, wrenches), power tools (i.e. nut driver), and electronic test devices to assemble and conduct preliminary tests on small assemblies</li>\n <li>Must be able to work  interdependently in team settings to accomplish goals</li>\n <li>The individual must be able to handle multiple assignments, draw from past experiences, skills, and knowledge to assemble and resolve problems</li>\n <li>A general knowledge of PC/Computers is a requirement</li>\n <li>Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Description</h2>\n<p>Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) is a global leader in analytical instruments, separations technologies, and software, serving the life, materials, food, and environmental sciences for over 65 years.
