As a Teacher, you’ll instruct learners, ages 2 years to pre-kindergarten. You’ll join a passionate, mission-driven team that values collaboration, professional growth, and creating an environment where both children and educators can thrive.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>Please note: We are continuously accepting applications and will reach out to qualified candidates as positions become available.</em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage a classroom alongside an Assistant Teacher, ensuring a low student-to-teacher ratio and personalized attention<br></li>\n<li>Create and implement lessons using the STREAMin3 Curriculum, supporting the development of the whole child<br></li>\n<li>Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all children<br></li>\n<li>Build positive relationships with families through clear, professional, and compassionate communication<br></li>\n<li>Collaborate with colleagues, the Director, and support staff to ensure students, caregivers, and teachers feel supported<br></li>\n<li>Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all interactions<br></li>\n<li>Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in monthly staff meetings<br></li>\n<li>Foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects and celebrates the values and beliefs of all families<br></li>\n<li>Be flexible and team-oriented, assisting with other responsibilities assigned by the Director and/or Assistant Director</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>2-3 years in Early Childhood Education<br></li>\n<li>Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)<br></li>\n<li>Ability to implement developed curriculum to infant students, in collaboration with our on-site Instructional Coach<br></li>\n<li>Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform all duties safely and effectively<br></li>\n<li>Meets all North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education (NCDCDEE) requirements to work in a licensed child care program<br></li>\n<li>Must provide official transcripts prior to the first day of employment<br></li>\n<li>Birth-through-Kindergarten licensure or certification preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Schedule &amp; Shifts:</span><br>Our standard shifts are 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, each including a one-hour paid break. We do our best to honor shift preferences and maintain consistency, though specific schedules cannot be guaranteed.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation:</span><br>Annual salary in the range of $33,000 - $39,000, based on education and experience.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span><br>At Spark Academy, we believe in taking care of the people who care for our students.
