Transitional Counselors play a key role in creating a respectful, supportive environment that promotes recovery and growth.</span></span></p>\n\n<p><span style=\"display:block; font-size:12px\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\"><em><strong>This position is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. The schedule is Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 4pm-12am and Saturday and Sunday from 8am-4pm.</strong></em><br />\n<br />\n<strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br />\n&bull; Assist residents with independent living skills, including meal planning, cleaning, hygiene, and money management.<br />\n&bull; Support clients in developing and following recovery plans, coordinating with treatment teams and natural supports.<br />\n&bull; Provide advocacy, referrals, and connections to community resources.<br />\n&bull; Facilitate rehab groups and interventions focused on skill building and recovery.<br />\n&bull; Supervise self-medication protocols and ensure accurate documentation.<br />\n&bull; Provide crisis intervention and collaborate with emergency services as needed.<br />\n&bull; Maintain clear communication through progress notes, logs, and required records.<br />\n&bull; Ensure a safe and supportive environment, including overnight coverage when assigned.<br />\n&bull; Provide transportation and assist with scheduling personal appointments.<br />\n<br />\n<strong>Why Join BHcare?</strong><br />\nAt BHcare, you&rsquo;ll make a meaningful difference every day, helping individuals build independence and achieve their goals.
