They take responsibility for their work, build strong relationships, and help create a unified, supportive culture where everyone can succeed together.<br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Description:</span></p>\n<p>A VDC/BIM Coordinator will be an integral team member in the continued growth of the E3M Solutions engineering team both on internal turn-key projects and external engineering projects (design/build, design/assist, bid/spec).</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Accountabilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver high-quality designs that meet codes and client needs</li>\n<li>Coordinate systems integration with other disciplines</li>\n<li>Designing sustainable solutions while maintaining fiscal responsibility and meeting client expectations</li>\n<li>Communicate to clients and stakeholders clearly, concisely and timely</li>\n<li>Own your passion for continuous development and project accountability</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Team Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p>As a valued member of our team, you are expected to embody our core values in your day-to-day work and interactions. Good communication, collaboration and trust go a long way.<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepares layouts, details, schedules, drawings and other documents of mechanical, plumbing, and/or electrical systems</li>\n<li>Completes reviews of BIM Execution Plans to ensure projects follow customer project requirements and standards</li>\n<li>Creates and maintains documentation related to BIM processes, workflows and standards for the project</li>\n<li>Achieve spatial coordination of all trades with General Contractor and subcontractors</li>\n<li>Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications</li>\n<li>Generate RFIs to be submitted to the design team</li>\n<li>Create detailed shop drawings for fabrication and installation of associated trades</li>\n<li>Generate Trimble (or similar) Field Points</li>\n<li>Occasionally visits job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress</li>\n<li>Assist in maintaining standards &amp; tools for engineering</li>\n<li>Participate in conceptual development meetings with E3M team, clients and contractors</li>\n<li>Work in R&amp;D efforts on new technologies and opportunities</li>\n<li>Perform other tasks and items necessary in a small business</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Science, or Technology - Preferred</li>\n<li>Comprehensive knowledge of BIM and a track record of technical excellence in such field</li>\n<li>Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, Navis Works or similar applications</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical/plumbing and energy codes and standards</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, etc) &amp; Bluebeam Revu</li>\n</ul>",
