The Contractor lives with the Participant and provides support to them in accordance with Participants person-centered support plan and in compliance with K.A.R. 30-63.</p><p>Supports the Mission, Philosophies and Goals for the Agency. Oversee supports provided to Individuals with developmental disabilities by complying with state and federal standards, supervising subordinates and by adhering to company standards established for occupancy, compliance, and efficiency. Adhere to the mission of the operation locations by developing, coordinating, and implementing services that support Individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their chosen lifestyle. This position is committed to helping Individuals with developmental disabilities in maximizing their level of independence and quality of life.&nbsp;</p><p>NOTE: &nbsp;COF operations are 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Therefore, it should be clearly understood that working non-standard hours is the rule rather than the exception.</p><p><strong>Education/Experience/ Licenses: &nbsp;</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>3+ years of experience in human services</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Preference given to experience in IDD Services</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Knowledge/ Experience/Ability to work with various software such as word processing, spreadsheets, email systems, including &nbsp;encryption</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Valid Kansas Driver&rsquo;s License and ability to travel at least 30% of the time</p><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities: None</strong></p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Responsible for the oversight and quality of Shared Living Program</p><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assist with the approval process of potential Shared Living homes and contractors.</p><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Cultivating and development of Participant referrals and Shared Living Contractors.</p><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Participate in screening and interviewing of potential Shared Living Contractors.</p><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Create a pool of potential Shared Living Contractors with the assistance of recruiting tools to have contractors ready for potential&nbsp; referrals.</p><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ensures policy and contractual compliance with current Contractors and their homes.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Maintain a working knowledge of applicable and current state and federal regulations, labor laws, as well as professional standards, and recommend to the CEO of any policy or procedure revision recommendations.</p><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ensures services meet and exceed state and federal regulations and standards.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Foster good working relationships with referral and regulatory personnel.</p><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Respond to any reports made by outside regulatory agencies in a timely manner.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Cultivate and foster good working relationships as part of an ongoing quality enhancement function:</p><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>With persons served, Guardians, parents, family, and/or friends of persons served.</p><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Doing so by initiating contact with/ reaching out to the above mentioned as a natural matter of routine and on an ongoing basis.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Work with the agency&rsquo;s Deputy Operations Officer to ensure the budgets and analytics are maintained.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Participate in follow up of quality assurance audits monthly for Individual files to ensure federal and state requirements are met. Assist in any onsite investigations and surveys.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Carry a company cell phone and respond to all calls in a timely manner.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Complete training as required within specified time limit.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Complies with all agency policies and procedures including HIPAA/Confidentiality policies.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Perform other duties as assigned or required.</p><p><br></p><p>Physical Demands/ Work Environment: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
