    "description_html": "<p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you will be doing</strong>: &nbsp;</p><ul><li>Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as a part number, selects alloys and heat numbers, number of materials to be melted, appropriate oven time and temperature, and the foundry method to be followed.&nbsp;</li><li>Verifies incoming metal shipments; stores metal and ensures weight accuracy of all materials/ orders prior to processing in the foundry.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform furnace, system and equipment checks; ensure required ladles are available; ensure the temperatures of the pre-heat furnaces meet specifications; and make changes to the controller settings as deemed necessary.&nbsp;</li><li>Determine crucible size for shells being cast; identify alloy grade and melt practice to be used; determine pouring parameters and adhere to the melt procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Fill furnace with metal and observe the melting process so as to avoid damage to equipment and personnel.&nbsp;</li><li>Skims slag from surface of molten metal in the furnace, using hand strainer.&nbsp;</li><li>Read temperature gauges and observe color changes, adjusting electrical heating units as necessary to melt metal to specifications.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for the deoxidization procedure for ferrous alloys.&nbsp;</li><li>Draw smelted metal samples from furnaces or kettles for analysis and calculate types and amounts of materials needed to ensure that materials meet specifications.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Completes records and reports as required to record production data and maintain production logs.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Operate controls to move or discharge metal work pieces from furnaces.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Follow and maintain metallurgical and foundry quality standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Finish the assigned work in the allotted time and maintain the production levels.&nbsp;</li><li>Use computer programs to record accurate data / follow router/ achieve rates established or notify lead person for effective communication. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Inspect and report product or equipment defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.&nbsp;</li><li>Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) as instructed by the supervisor.&nbsp;</li><li>Report any accident occurred in the plant related to person, equipment, material or any other to the Production Supervisor as soon as possible.&nbsp;</li><li>Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company’s Employee Handbook and adhere to proper code of conduct while in the company property.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform all work in a safe and efficient manner and comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other tasks as directed by your supervisor.</li></ul>",
