    "description": "<h2>Position Description</h2>\n<p><strong>At a Glance</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Legrand </strong>has an exciting opportunity for a <strong>CAD Technician </strong>to join the <strong>Electrical Wiring Power Bus Way Team</strong> in <strong>Mississauga, ON.</strong> The CAD Technician will be responsible for translating designs and technical information into accurate manufacturing drawings for production, supporting the cable bus mechanical design team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What Will You Do?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Interpret mechanical design drawings and specifications.</li>\n <li>Generate models within 3D workspace.</li>\n <li>Work with 3D scans and point cloud models</li>\n <li>Prepare product layout and approval drawings.</li>\n <li>Ensure standard design and drawing procedures are followed.</li>\n <li>Prepare component manufacturing drawings for production.</li>\n <li>Prepare installation manuals and arrangement drawings.</li>\n <li>Follow projects through manufacturing processes ensuring proper production and assembly of components.</li>\n <li>Provide manufacturing and assembly input.</li>\n <li>Maintain computer and hard copy files in a logical, organized fashion.</li>\n <li>Provide input to the design of product prototypes and final product designs.</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>0-1+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and design</li>\n <li>Diploma in mechanical engineering technology, or related major or a combination of relevant education and experience</li>\n <li>Knowledge and understanding of common engineering and manufacturing practices.</li>\n <li>Understanding of 3D modeling and mechanical drawings</li>\n <li>Introductory experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD</li>\n <li>Familiarity of manufacturing and fabrications processes</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $47,000-$55,000</p>\n<h2>Company Info</h2>\n<p><strong>About Legrand</strong></p>\n<p>Legrand is the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures.
