Description

Job Description General Summary : As a Machine operator you will be responsible for a variety of machine-specific functions. The listed below are included but are not limited to. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Cleaning, stacking, and moving pallets Identify, confirm, and prioritize work to be performed Learn to set up machinery and perform tool changes as needed Learn how to perform changeovers Load programs/inputs into the machine control Learn how to perform daily PMs on machinery and equipment used Use proper tools on the machine Bunch, label, and stage parts for the next manufacturing process Practice exceptional housekeeping Other related duties may be assigned as needed. The responsibilities listed above are not intended to be an exhaustive list. Job Qualifications : Experience: Machine operator experience Forklift experience preferred (will certify in-house) Blueprint reading skills The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions Detailed oriented Computer skill Good communication skills General labor skills Physical Requirements for the job Ability to move at least 50lbs Ability to stand and use hand tools 8-10hrs per day Wear the necessary PPE for the position
