In 2018, Glatfelter joined American International Group (AIG) and is now part of the AIG family.</p><p><strong>About the Position</strong></p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Physical Security and Safety Coordinator</strong> to support the organization&#39;s physical security and workplace safety programs. This role coordinates physical security operations, access control administration, incident response, and safety compliance initiatives to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors. This role will serve as a liaison between Human Resources, Facilities, Information Security, and associates.</p><p>This position is required to be onsite at our York, PA office.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Program Coordination</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Support physical security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.</li><li>Track and maintain physical security and safety metrics, reporting and documentation.</li><li>Coordinate physical security and safety projects.</li><li>Collaborate with Facilities, HR, IT and Legal teams on physical security and safety initiatives.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Security</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Must be available for on-call responsibilities during emergencies or critical incidents.</li><li>Administer the employee badge and access control system (provisioning, changes, and terminations).</li><li>Coordinate physical access requests, badge issuance, and security permissions.</li><li>Manage and monitor building camera systems and video retention.</li><li>Retrieve and provide video footage for approved investigations.</li><li>Maintain physical security policies, procedures, and documentation.</li><li>Support incident response and workplace investigations.</li><li>Perform facility security assessments and risk reviews.</li></ul><p><strong>Safety &amp; Emergency Preparedness</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Develop and maintain emergency response and evacuation plans.</li><li>Coordinate and lead fire drills and preparedness exercises.</li><li>Serve as on-site point of contact during safety or security incidents.</li><li>Monitors compliance with federal, state and local safety regulations.</li><li>Coordinate safety training and awareness initiatives for employees.</li><li>Perform workplace inspections.</li></ul><p><strong>Vendor &amp; Program Coordination</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Manage relationships with physical security vendors, alarm providers, monitoring services, local fire and police departments.</li><li>Coordinate service requests, maintenance, and system improvements.</li><li>Participate in risk assessments and recommend physical security and safety enhancements.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Corporate Security, Emergency Management, Safety Management or other related field or equivalent relevant work experience.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Industry certifications such as Physical Security Professional, Certified Protection Professional or equivalent preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in physical security, emergency management, corporate safety, facilities security, or related field.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in responding to incidents as part of an incident management team.</li><li>Hands-on experience managing access control systems and video surveillance platforms.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience developing emergency response plans and conducting fire or evacuation drills.</li><li>Experience managing third-party physical security vendors.</li><li>Strong understanding of corporate safety, workplace security, and incident response practices.</li><li>Excellent communication, discretion, and judgment.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Choose Glatfelter?</strong></p><p>Glatfelter is honored to have been named a Best Place to Work in PA since 2005.
