    "description": "<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview:</span></span></p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced and business-oriented In-House Counsel to lead and manage the company’s compliance function in the United States. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust corporate risk management and compliance framework, with a strong focus on data privacy and transfer, product liability and marketing, and antitrust and competition issue compliance.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is proactive, practical, and comfortable working in a fast-growing, cross-border business environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">1. Compliance and Risk Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify legal and compliance risks across business operations and support on internal audit and compliance review.</li>\n<li>Establish, implement, and continuously improve the company’s risk management and compliance program, with the focus on data security, antirust compliance, and product liability and marketing.</li>\n<li>Review and improve internal policies, including but not limited to Code of Conduct and compliance guidelines, to promote a strong culture of ethics and compliance across the company.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">2. Data Privacy and Security</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advise the business team on the implementation and practice of consumer data privacy and data transfer laws and regulations to ensure compliance.</li>\n<li>Support the review and update of product and company website related data protection and privacy policies.</li>\n<li>Establish data security incident response plans.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">3. Antitrust and Competition Law</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advise the business team on antitrust related issues, particularly on pricing strategies implementation, to ensure legal compliance and to reduce antitrust risks.</li>\n<li>Develop and deliver antitrust compliance training to the business team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">4. Product Compliance and Marketing</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor regulatory development related to consumer electronics and home appliances products to ensure company products meet applicable U.S. regulatory and safety standards.</li>\n<li>Review product labeling, manuals, warranty, and marketing materials for legal compliance.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with outside counsel in response to product liability related litigations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">5. Commercial Contracts and Other Legal Support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements</li>\n<li>Provide day-to-day legal advice to business teams.</li>\n<li>Communicate and cooperate with headquarters legal team as needed.</li>\n<li>Manage and coordinate with external counsel as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Basic Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school</li>\n<li>Active U.S. bar license (Georgia preferred or ability to register in-house in Georgia)</li>\n<li>5–10 years of relevant legal experience as an in-house counsel or in law firm</li>\n<li>Legal experience in manufacturing, consumer electronics, or related industries is strongly preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Expertise:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of U.S. data privacy, security, and transfer laws at both state and federal levels</li>\n<li>Familiarity with consumer electronics and home appliances products compliance frameworks and marketing laws</li>\n<li>Solid experience in antitrust and competition law (pricing, distribution, channel management)</li>\n<li>Experience building or managing compliance programs is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong business judgment and practical problem-solving skills</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Hisense USA is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetic information.
