Child Caregiver– Lampasas, TX 76550 A family in Lampasas, TX 76550 is seeking a compassionate and dependable attendant for their 11-year-old son with special needs. The family is homeschooling and is looking for someone who can support both his educational development and daily care needs in a structured, supportive setting. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00pm-9:00pm (some flexibility) Potential for split shifts depending on candidate availability Family Specifications: Smoke-free home Two dogs Work-related driving will be done using the family’s wheelchair-accessible minivan Responsibilities: Provide attentive, hands-on care including feeding tube support, diapering, and comfort with exposure to bodily fluids Assist with transfers and mobility support Support use of the child’s communication device Assist with homeschool curriculum and homework implementation Document educational progress and daily activities Step in to independently manage physical care needs in emergency situations Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment Requirements: Ability to assist with transfers and physical support needs CPR and First Aid certification required Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Comfortable working in a home with pets Willingness to learn (training will be provided) Compensation: $20–$25 per hour (commensurate with experience) All candidates will be subject to a background check.
