We are 18,000 projects and counting – improving lives and helping shape the growth of sustainable, progressive and inclusive communities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Role</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To support us in our efforts to take on new and challenging projects, Colliers Project Leaders is seeking a Project Manager with specialized expertise in the execution of building and/or infrastructure construction projects. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a single point of contact to ensure the achievement of their strategic goals and aspirations</li>\n <li>Lead work programs and major capital projects of varying size, scope, and complexity</li>\n <li>Meet or exceed client expectations for all projects and represent their interests regarding contractual and technical matters</li>\n <li>Lead project meetings and client meetings. Manage multiple stakeholders and communication flows</li>\n <li>Provide regular progress reports on projects through schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial data, and other reports</li>\n <li>Oversee and manage the change management process, payment certificates, and other administrative documents related to contracts or projects</li>\n <li>Oversee the control of project-related documents and ensure that work complies with our quality management system and procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5 to 7 years of experience as a project manager representing owners in the execution of building development, infrastructure, and capital improvement projects for institutional clients (healthcare, higher education), municipalities, government agencies (provincial and/or federal), and First Nations governments</li>\n <li>University degree in engineering, architecture, or construction economics (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)</li>\n <li>Excellent knowledge of various design and construction methods, project management and financial management models, as well as building codes, contract law, and relevant legislation</li>\n <li>Excellent understanding of project management methods</li>\n <li>Strong leadership skills and an excellent ability to influence others and successfully resolve a wide range of client, project, and technical issues</li>\n <li>Proven experience in delivering projects from the concept development stage through to occupancy and warranty inspections</li>\n <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills and practical knowledge of planning (MS Project), word processing (Word), and spreadsheet (Excel) applications</li>\n <li>ASP card</li>\n <li>Engineering degree or PMP certification is a plus; other qualifications are welcome</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Don’t have every single qualification?</strong> We know that some people are less likely to apply for a job unless they are a perfect match.
