They also play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the restaurant. In addition, food runners often handle complex customer complaints and questions, demonstrating their problem-solving skills. They may also be involved in setting up tables, scanning products, and assisting with inventory control. Moreover, food runners are often responsible for transporting tableware to the dishwashing area and ensuring quick clean-up between seatings. These tasks contribute to the larger job of providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional appearance.
