We are seeking business leaders to join our growing team and become an integral part of our company's future.</p><p><br></p><p>Are you ready to <strong>be Part of Something BIGGER!</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Plumbing and Air, a Southern Home Services Company, is</strong> looking for a dynamic-<strong>Warehouse Associate </strong>to join a thriving business that believes in work life balance and cares about YOU!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>In this role, you will be responsible for:</strong></p><ul><li>Staging work orders</li><li>Organize stock and maintain inventory</li><li>Inspect products for defects and damages</li><li>Load and unload trucks</li><li>Deliver materials to job sites using company vehicles</li><li>Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately</li><li>Help process warranty claims</li><li>Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations</li><li>Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures</li><li>Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily</li><li>Additional duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of three year's driving experience</li><li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent</li><li>HVAC industry knowledge and experience are highly desirable</li><li>Basic automobile repair knowledge is desirable</li><li>Persistence in conquering objectives</li><li>Skill in both verbal and written communication</li><li>Strong computer skills are essential, computer proficiency with Microsoft applications</li><li>Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment</li><li>Ability to lift or move heavy items</li><li>Ability to work weekends as needed</li><li>Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons</li></ul><p><strong>The physical requirements of this job include:</strong></p><ul><li>Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally</li><li>Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.</li><li>Ability to drive.</li><li>Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces.</li><li>Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.</li><li>Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.&nbsp;</li><li>Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.</li><li>The work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow.</li><li>Southern Home Services will make reasonable accommodations to allow an employee to perform the essential functions of the job.</li></ul><p>Southern Home Services will make reasonable accommodations to allow an employee to perform the essential functions of the job.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><p>We offer a rewarding career path with great benefits, flexible schedules, professional and on-the-job training, and growth plans.
