Packhouse Production Assistants are hands-on and require individuals who enjoy rolling up their sleeves and are accustomed to manual labor-intensive jobs.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Prior experience in the natural and organic food industry is a plus but not required. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and organized individual to assume a position at a rapidly growing, innovative, disruptive company in the 21st-century food system.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL DO</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Packing containers of fresh leafy greens and herbs</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Identifying unacceptable quality products to discard</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Sorting and selecting high-quality products to pack</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Filling containers to an accurate weight using scales</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Properly handle products and containers to maximize shelf life and appearance to the Company&rsquo;s expectations</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Performing repetitive tasks at a consistent pace that meets productivity expectations</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Labeling, boxing, and staging product materials and supplies</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Handling, organizing, and loading production supplies and equipment</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Assisting with inventory control and cold storage organization</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Assist with daily cleaning of production areas, equipment, and supplies</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Assist with periodic cleaning of common areas in the facility</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), Company food safety policies, Company employee safety policies, and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Other duties as assigned</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>WHO YOU ARE</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Authorized to work in the U.S.</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Capable of lifting to 50 pounds</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Work efficiently and pay attention to detail</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Must have a reliable form of transportation</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p>Open availability to work various work schedules, including holidays and weekends</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>WHO WE ARE</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>Gotham Greens is an indoor farming company and a fresh food brand on a mission to transform the way we approach our food system, putting people and the planet at the forefront.
