    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><b><u>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities</u></b></p>\n<p><b>Advanced Equipment Maintenance &amp; Troubleshooting</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead troubleshooting efforts to quickly diagnose and resolve complex equipment downtime issues.</li>\n <li>Perform and guide scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance activities following established best practices.</li>\n <li>Rebuild, qualify, and prepare implanter assemblies and other critical components for rapid installation.</li>\n <li>Set up, qualify, and run equipment after repairs and, as needed, during production.</li>\n <li>Repair, maintain, and calibrate process equipment involving high‑vacuum systems and supporting infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Perform daily equipment checks and initiate corrective actions based on findings.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Electrical, Electronic &amp; Software Expertise</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Interpret complex electrical and electronic schematics.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuitry to the board level.</li>\n <li>Leverage commercial and vendor‑proprietary software to diagnose, maintain, and improve production equipment performance.</li>\n <li>Serve as a technical escalation point for complex equipment issues.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Chemical, Gas &amp; Safety Systems</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain hazardous and inert gas handling systems, including cylinder changeouts and system integrity checks.</li>\n <li>Repair and maintain chemical and solvent delivery systems.</li>\n <li>Apply a strong understanding of chemical processes and associated hazards.</li>\n <li>Champion safety compliance, proper procedures, and a clean, organized work environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Technical Leadership &amp; Knowledge Sharing</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mentor and train technicians on certified tasks, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices.</li>\n <li>Share expertise to improve team capability, consistency, and response time.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to drive equipment improvements.</li>\n <li>Provide input into maintenance strategies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Documentation &amp; Operational Excellence</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of maintenance and repair activities in computerized maintenance systems.</li>\n <li>Maintain detailed equipment history and performance records.</li>\n <li>Identify, source, and order parts and materials required to support maintenance and repair efforts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Education &amp; Experience</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>AS degree in Electronics or equivalent training (minimum) with background in Electronics&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience repairing complex manufacturing equipment (8&amp;#43; years preferred). Semiconductor equipment experience preferred (specifically vacuum systems, and/or ion implanters).</li>\n <li>Extensive ability to do electronics troubleshooting is needed.</li>\n <li>Equivalent Military experience will also be considered.</li>\n <li>Training in the handling of hazardous chemicals, gases, and materials</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Skills</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Good organizational, written and verbal communication skills.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to read, analyze technical procedures, documentation, instruction manuals, and or governmental regulations.</li>\n <li>Ability to write reports.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers and management</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Working Conditions</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work in an office environment and non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility</li>\n <li>Work in a Class 10/100/1000 clean room for extended periods</li>\n <li>Wear full clean room attire</li>\n <li>Work with and/or around chemicals such as acids and solvents</li>\n <li>Providing support during off hours</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>ITAR/EAR and Other Requirements</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li><b>Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or protected individual).</b></li>\n <li>Compliance with all applicable export control regulations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Physical Requirements</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Occasionally lifts, carries, or otherwise moves items weighing up to 50 pounds.</li>\n <li>Must be able to squat, kneel as needed and walk or stand for most of shift.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
