Manages relationships with retailer cross-functional teams, customers and manufacturers. We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Duty</strong>· Manager and direct a team of QA/Food Techs that service the QA function at the retailer account</p>\n<p>· Prioritize and assign the project workload for the team to enable timely delivery of high-quality processes and strategies</p>\n<p>· Take leadership role in collaborating and communicating with key stakeholders to ensure that projects are aligned with Private Brand objectives</p>\n<p>· Collect and organize disparate pieces of information into a clear and concise business case; present internally to retailer’s key stakeholders</p>\n<p>· Maintains an understanding of Daymon and customer strategy and vision</p>\n<p>· Maintain industry and global working knowledge of all QA and Food Science/Safety tools and methodologies</p>\n<p>· Act as Thought Leader through the development of Best in Class processes and policies that align with customer philosophy and strategy on food safety, quality and consumer needs</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Direct Reports</p>\n<p>- Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Indirect Reports</p>\n<p>- May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Travel and/or Driving Requirements</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>- Travel and Driving are not essential duties or functions of this job </p>\n<p>Choose an item.         %</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong> <em>The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job</em></p>\n<p>Education Level: <strong>(Required):</strong>    Bachelor's Degree           or equivalent experience</p>\n<p>                        <strong>(Preferred):</strong>    Master's Degree  Or equivalent experience                     </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business Administration, Food Service, or related field</p>\n<p>8-10 years of experience in quality assurance, or related experience  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Skills, Knowledge and Abilities</strong></p>\n<p>· Decision Making Skills</p>\n<p>· Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills</p>\n<p>· Well Organized, Detail Oriented, & able to Handle Fast Paced Work Environment</p>\n<p>· Flexible & Adaptable, able to change & Alter According to changes in Projects or Business Environment</p>\n<p>· Knowledge of generally accepted practices, procedures, & standard policy & procedure development techniques</p>\n<p>· Ability to Gather Data, Compile Information, & Prepare Reports</p>\n<p>· Supervising Skills, to include Delegating Responsibility, Training, & Evaluating Performance</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Important Information</h2>\n<p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position.
