    "description": "<h2> Overview</h2>\n<p>Design, monitor, and supervise athletic/recreational programs.</p>\n<h2> Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains equipment and supplies.</li>\n <li>Supervises and makes arrangements for the supervision of scheduled events.</li>\n <li>Supervises athletic staff as designated by the Site Administrator.</li>\n <li>Publicizes and recruits for athletic/recreational events.</li>\n <li>Represents Community Centers at/during events/meetings.</li>\n <li>Transports participants to and from events.</li>\n <li>Negotiates agreements on gym usage and schedules gym activities.</li>\n <li>Performs other related duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2> Minimum Entrance Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Two (2) years of experience with public recreation administration and the operation of planned recreational and athletic programs are required.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with a broad range of recreation and athletic programs. </li>\n <li>Ability to plan, assist, and supervise staff.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate and work with a broad range of people. </li>\n <li>Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job. </li>\n <li>Good communication skills. </li>\n <li>Experience in coordinating community recreational programs.</li>\n <li>Must have and maintain a current Massachusetts Driver's License.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work weekends and evenings.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>C.O.R.I check required</strong></p>\n<p><strong>S.O.R.I check required</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>BOSTON RESIDENCY REQUIRED</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Terms:</strong></p>\n<p>Union/Salary Plan/Grade: SEIU/CC-7</p>\n<p>Hours per week: 35</p>",
