    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Intertek (BML) is a commercial laboratory which specializes in recovery of base and precious metals from raw mineralization. We are looking for dedicated technicians to join our team.</p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>General Responsibilities</strong></p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">To ensure that all required tasks are performed safely, accurately and on schedule.</p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>Specific Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Safely and efficiently perform fire assay techniques, including fluxing, fusing and cupelling according to standard operating procedures.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Recognize any issues during procedures and immediately report to the supervisor.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Complete and maintain sample logs and worksheets.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Keep a tidy work environment and assist with lead waste disposal.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Assist with sample storage/inventory.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Assist in other areas of the laboratory as needed.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Other tasks may be assigned as needed.</p></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">High school diploma (or equivalent) is required.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Safety oriented and strong attention to detail.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Ability to read, understand and carry out instructions is essential.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Experience in fire assay is an asset, but on-site training will be provided.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Ability to handle extreme temperatures.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Capable of lifting 25 Kg.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Experience with Excel.</p></li><li><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Forklift license is an asset</p></li></ul><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>Salary &amp; Benefits Information</strong></p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\">The base wage or salary range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
