As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.</p>\n<p><strong>Job responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems</li>\n <li>Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others</li>\n <li>Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems</li>\n <li>Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes</li>\n <li>Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies</li>\n <li>Demonstrates knowledge of architecture and design across all systems</li>\n <li>Exhibits in multiple modern programming languages</li>\n <li>Utilizes in modern SDLC practices such as Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment</li>\n <li>Applies of industry-wide technology trends and best practices</li>\n <li>Possesses understanding of financial control and budget management</li>\n <li>Collaborates to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines</li>\n <li>Extensive core Java development experience with Spring or similar framework</li>\n <li>Expert understanding of data structures, algorithms &amp; multi-threaded programming</li>\n <li>Experience working on high throughput mission critical high-performance&nbsp;platforms</li>\n <li>Ability to influence architecture and design across distributed systems</li>\n <li>Experience in designing and building reusable services</li>\n <li>\n  <p>Proven track record in application delivery and stakeholder management</p>\n  <p>&nbsp;</p></li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, AWS, Kubernaties, Kafka, Cassandra, Spark</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications, capabilities, and skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Oracle, Control-M, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, PowerMock, JMeter, Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, and Jenkins&nbsp;</li>\n <li>\n  <p>Experience developing open-source libraries or internal libraries that are integrated into applications by other internal teams</p>\n  <p>&nbsp;</p></li>\n <li>\n  <p>Experience with Cloud native software deployment</p>\n  <p>&nbsp;</p></li>\n <li>Cloud certification</li>\n <li>Exceptional client relationship skills including the ability to discover true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical approaches, drive efforts to meet committed timelines with optimal solutions.</li>\n</ul>",
