These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Packaging Associate</strong></p>\n<p>Baxter Springs, KS</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation Includes</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Starting Pay Rate of <strong>$16.91/hour</strong> </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Available Shifts</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2nd: 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Sunday - Thursday</li>\n <li><p>3rd: 11:00pm - 7:00am, Sunday - Thursday</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>\n<p>Inspect and pack product manufactured on high-speed paper converting equipment in compliance with Safety Programs and Quality Assurance Systems to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.    </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspect and pack product per customer specification using safe work practices</li>\n <li>Notify the Operator when product does not meet quality specifications; assist with resolution</li>\n <li>Read, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork</li>\n <li>Read & understand Production Order Packet (POP); set up work area using materials as specified in the POP; replenish materials as needed</li>\n <li>Assist the Operator with set-up and/or change over activities as directed</li>\n <li>Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition</li>\n <li>Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures</li>\n <li>Actively engage in safety programs</li>\n <li>Assist other team members as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Stable work history; six months experience in a manufacturing environment or other physical labor job is strongly preferred</li>\n <li>Commitment to an accident-free and drug-free workplace</li>\n <li>Quality-conscious, oriented to excellence</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic evidenced by enthusiasm, positive attitude, and high energy level</li>\n <li>Well-developed problem-solving skills; creative, out-of-the-box thinker</li>\n <li>Willingness to work overtime as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
