    "requisitionDescription": "\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/22.19.20/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/22.19.20/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n\n    <div class=\"fr-view\">\n      <p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Description &ndash; Guest Room Attendant</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Hotel Emma is seeking passionate, service driven candidates for the position of Guest Room Attendant.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Purpose of the Position:</u></strong></p><p>The purpose of the position of Guest Room Attendant is to clean and maintain rooms and halls in the hotel while performing any combination of the following duties.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Primary Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p>Duties are as follows but not limited to:</p><ul><li>Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, fitness center, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.</li><li>Delivers items to guest rooms and other areas of the hotel.&nbsp;</li><li>Replenishes room supplies, such as drinking glasses, note pads, pens.&nbsp;</li><li>Makes beds.</li><li>Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaner.</li><li>Dusts furniture and equipment.</li><li>Polishes metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.</li><li>Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.</li><li>Washes windows, door panels, and sills.</li><li>Empties and washes wastebaskets.</li><li>Transports trash and waste to disposal area.</li><li>Replenishes bathroom supplies.</li><li>Reports any maintenance deficiencies in the room to the proper personnel.&nbsp;</li><li>Abides by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals.</li><li>Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.</li><li>Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.&nbsp;</li><li>Takes the initiative to greet guests and fellow Associates in a friendly and warm manner.</li><li>Performs other related duties as required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Job Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Position requires effective communication with guests and co-workers. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to present and conduct oneself professionally and emulates the Hotel Emma Culture.</li><li>Six months related experience as a hotel Room Attendant.</li><li>Flexible schedule required, to include AM/PM, weekends and holidays.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>W</u></strong><strong><u>orking Conditions</u></strong><strong><u>/P</u></strong><strong><u>hysical Demands</u></strong>:</p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up 50 pounds. Prolonged standing, pushing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restrictions.
