This role is designed for technicians who bring strong technical capability, lead by example in the field, and want to be part of a team known for disciplined execution, safety leadership, and professional growth across utility-scale wind projects.  This is a 100% travel position supporting maintenance, repair, and installation scopes across multiple turbine platforms. Level 3 technicians at SCR play a critical role in execution quality, mentoring junior technicians, and representing our team directly with customers on site. </p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Perform intermediate and advanced wind turbine maintenance and installation tasks, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical scopes</strong> </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate and maintain a wide range of tools and diagnostic equipment, including hydraulic systems, calibration tools, power tools, and turbine-specific equipment </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead by example on safety, proactively identifying risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and reinforcing a no-compromise safety culture </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Troubleshoot and diagnose turbine systems using structured problem-solving methods and diagnostic tools </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Execute work independently while adhering to defined maintenance schedules, procedures, and customer requirements </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Support quality control activities and assist with audits or verification of work performed by less experienced technicians </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Mentor and support junior technicians, contributing to skills development and strong crew performance </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Interface professionally with customers on site, addressing routine questions and escalating complex issues as appropriate </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete technical reports, documentation, and required system entries accurately and on time </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform rescue operations and support emergency response activities as required </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What Sets This Role Apart</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Leadership expectation</strong>: This is not a heads-down role. Level 3 technicians are trusted field leaders </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Project variety:</strong> Exposure to multiple turbine platforms and scopes across North America </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Structured execution:</strong> Organized planning, defined processes, and clear communication </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Long-term value:</strong> Opportunities to grow into lead, specialist, or training roles as the business scales </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Minimum three (3) years of technical wind industry experience and completion of a Wind Technician training program, OR three (3) years of hands-on experience in hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical industrial environments</strong> </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Advanced troubleshooting capability with the ability to interpret schematics and train others </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated proficiency with complex tools such as hydraulic rams, inductive heaters, and advanced diagnostic equipment </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong working knowledge of industrial safety practices, including energy isolation and risk mitigation </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to collaborate effectively across crews, support change initiatives, and follow structured supervision </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic computer skills, including navigation of web-based systems and technical documentation </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical & Travel Requirements</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to travel 100% and work overtime, including variable schedules, as project demands require </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to climb ladders and stairs 60–125 meters in height </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 lbs </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for extended periods </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Weight restriction of 260 lbs, required to ensure safe use of weight-rated equipment </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Employment Conditions</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a passport </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must pass background check and drug screening </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be 18 years of age or older </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>This is a Safety Sensitive position </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About Sky Climber Renewables</strong> </p>\n<p>Sky Climber Renewables (SCR) provides specialized field services to the utility-scale wind industry across North America.
