As a co-op student, you will work on meaningful projects that support our operations and give you hands-on experience in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.</p>\n<p>Join S&amp;C to make an impact on tomorrow’s energy challenges!</p>\n<p><strong>Work Arrangement: </strong>Onsite</p>\n<p><strong>Work Term:</strong>&nbsp;Fall 2026; 8 Months (Sept. 2026 - April 2026) or 12 Months (Sept. 2026 - Aug. 2027)</p>\n<p><strong>Compensation</strong></p>\n<p>At S&amp;C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, with a commitment to transparency in our pay practices. <strong>The hourly pay range for this position is $22.70 - $36.40.&nbsp;</strong>Individual pay within this range is determined by several compensable factors, including the year of study, type of academic program, and the number of prior co-op work terms completed. &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Join Our Team as a Quality Engineering Support (Co-op)!</strong></p>\n<p>The Quality Engineering Support&nbsp;is responsible for&nbsp;supporting quality improvement projects, ensuring that changes to processes and drawings are complete, as well as monitoring performance.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitoring of operational performance metrics.</li>\n <li>Summarizing and presenting reports.</li>\n <li>Identification of operational issues.</li>\n <li>Conducting root cause analysis and corrective action identification (problem-solving activity).</li>\n <li>Supporting process owners with change management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What you’ll Need To Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Pursuing a degree/diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.</li>\n <li>Is in a registered co-op program and available for an 8, or 12-month placement starting in the Fall 2026 Co-op work term.</li>\n <li>Has a key interest in engineering design and manufacturing.</li>\n <li>Some manufacturing experience is an asset.</li>\n <li>Can be proficient in Visual Basic</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills</li>\n <li>A team player</li>\n <li>Able to work independently with minimal supervision</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Effort:</strong></p>\n<p>Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace.
