    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Gateway Scholarship is designed to give scholarship recipients with no manufacturing background or educational foundation the ability to start a career.  Scholarship recipients will attend Mitchell Technical College on a full-ride scholarship from empirical.  Upon successful completion of the program, scholarship recipients will have a job awaiting them with empirical.  After in-depth research, empirical chose Mitchell Technical College for its rigorous curriculum, quality instruction, and high recognition proven to prepare students to enter the workforce. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PROGRAM STUDY</strong>Automation Controls/SCADA, AAS Degree4 Semesters</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Scholarships remove any need for additional financial aid.</li>\n <li>The Gateway Scholarship covers:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Tuition, books, and fees.</li>\n   <li>Housing and meal plan</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>ELIGIBILITY</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School/GED diploma (by application deadline).</li>\n <li>Must be 18 years or older (at the time of signing student housing lease agreement).</li>\n <li>Interest in pursuing a technical degree (AAS)and Technical Career with empirical.</li>\n <li>Scholarship is contingent on acceptance to Mitchell Tech College & signing a two-year employment agreement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>HOW IT WORKS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Accepted applicants will be required to move to Mitchell, SD prior to the school start date (last week in August).</li>\n <li>Students will attend their designated program full-time and have regular check-ins with empirical.</li>\n <li>Maintain good standing with Mitchell Technical College</li>\n <li>Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA</li>\n <li>Graduate and receive their AAS degree</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>START YOUR CAREER</strong>Upon satisfactory completion of the program, students are offered full-time employment with empirical.
