We are looking for like-minded, dynamic individuals to come and join our team. The Caring Place provides emergency shelter, residential programs, job training, education &amp; computer literacy classes, healthcare, transitional housing, permanent housing, employment opportunities for homeless men, women, and children as well as programs for &ldquo;at-risk&rdquo; youth.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">We are currently seeking a FT Video Editor at The Caring Place Administrative Office in Miami, FL,</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>JOB SUMMARY</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The <strong>Video Editor (VE)</strong> reports to the <strong>Media Manager (MM)</strong> and is responsible for producing visual content that supports The Caring Place&rsquo;s communications strategy. This includes media mail-outs, emails, photography and videography at events, newsletters, advertising content, social media and materials for all. The position plays an active role in <strong>event coverage</strong>, including photographing and filming events, organizing content, and supporting press needs onsite. The Video Editor also supports<strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>social media content</strong> by capturing and delivering timely, engaging visuals and short-form videos optimized for digital platforms.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>CORE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Photograph and film organization events; deliver edited content for press, social media, and newsletters</li><li>Coordinate with the Media Manager to support communication strategies through visual content</li><li>Create and schedule social media videos, reels, and stories from event footage or campaigns</li><li>Prepare accurate media mail-outs and assist in media prep for upcoming campaigns</li><li>Maintain an organized and up-to-date digital media library</li><li>Design and produce flyers, brochures, and other visual collateral for campus programs</li><li>Edit and deliver videos that are professional in quality and align with brand guidelines</li><li>Produce and edit radio shows/ podcasts and other audio content as needed</li><li>Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and creativity in all tasks</li><li>Will lead and/or participate in devotions, prayers, or other ministry activities ex. outreach events</li><li>Must be in agreement with and sign The Caring Place Statement of Faith</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Requires a High School diploma or GED</li><li>Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience in a non-profit organization or general office setting</li><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in photography, videography, or media production</li><li>Must be computer literate have experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)</li><li>Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects)</li><li>Social media experience is a plus (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Must have excellent communication and public relations skills</li><li>Ability to plan, organize, and execute media tasks, including event logistics and content scheduling<em>&nbsp;</em></li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Must be able to sit for extended periods, and have the ability to lift and/or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds Must also be able to see, hear and speak, in order to interact with staff and the general public</li><li>Must also be able to move around as needed to perform essential job duties</li></ul><p><strong><u>PERKS AND BENEFITS</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Day off for Birthday/Work Anniversary</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Employee Discounts</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Holidays (12)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Paid Time Off</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, GAP and Health Savings Account)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Company Paid Life insurance</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">403b Retirement Plan with 3% match</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Only qualified candidates will be considered.
